This film clip was shot during the Packers-Vikings game played December 3, 1967 at the Met.  My guess is that Vince was not happy that his defense had relinquished a 27-17 lead late in the game.  The game was tied 27-27 very late in the contest  until S Tom Brown recovered a fumble deep in Vikings territory.  Don Chandler's last minute FG gave the Packers a 30-27 win.

We all know Coach Lombardi as a stern tough-as-nails taskmaster. And that much is certainly true. But he was also a great student of the game and teacher of the game. You had to be tough to play for Coach Lombardi but you also had to play smart and do things -- especially blocking and tackling -- the right way.
